BE GOOD TO YOUR BODY

TAKING CARE OF YOUR FRESH TATTOO INSURES IT’LL STAY BEAUTIFUL LONGER

AFTERCARE:

-If applied, leave bandage that you received on for 3-4 days, unless otherwise instructed. Tattoos will ooze blood, plasma, and ink. This is a normal part of the healing process. Your bandage will fill with these fluids, do not be worried.

-Make sure your hands have been thoroughly washed before removing the bandage. After removing the bandage gently wash the tattooed area with warm water and antibacterial soap.

  • Continue to wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap and warm water 2-4x a day until fully healed.

  • If more than 2 days has passed since your tattoo was completed you may begin to use fragrance and dye free lotion 2-3 times a day.

-After a few days you may notice some peeling and possibly a little scabbing, resist the urge to scratch or pick at your tattoo. Contact a physician if you experience excessive swelling, redness, yellow/green discharge or fever.

-DO NOT go swimming or soak, use hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol or any petroleum based products with a fresh tattoo. Make sure to avoid sun exposure, excessive sweating and sunscreen until fully healed.
